Thoughts..

A religion doesn’t have eyes to see, ears to hear or a mouth to speak. It doesn’t have the ability to hate, love, fight, or hurt on its own. Religion is epitomized through its followers, it sees what we see, hears what we hear and echoes what we say. Religion mirrors back to us what we show it. So when you say to me that a religion preaches that you hate a certain group or denies a certain group, I can’t believe you. I can’t believe that something that lives through us…something that we give life to then turns around and tells us to hate one another or says a certain percentage of us have less rights than others - we have made it that way. We’ve let our prejudices, traditions and racism take the front seat and drive us to the edge of the cliff and now we’re just teetering. We’ve gone so far from the universal message of every religion, the heart of them all - to submit ourselves to God and to live peacefully. Neither of which include hate or discrimination. God created us all different with different mindsets and paths in life - you can’t force someone to walk your path because you believe it is right. All our paths are leading to where God wants them to, and if you have submit to Him then you should travel yours and let other’s travel their own.
