With so much pain and suffering around the world, it’s amazing to see people still smiling. I guess it’s true when they say the person that has suffered much, has the most beautiful smile. Especially children. I pray that Allah elevates the level of Jannah for each person that has suffered at the hands of a greedy tyrant, an angry parent, an oppressive government, a heartless society, time or a cruel stranger. I pray that the suffering they are forced to endure lessens and teaches us all a lesson: Although we complain each day about the “Struggles” we think we face, there is always someone out there that has it worse. Whether it’s the child that saw his/her parents murdered or the woman/man that wakes up before the sun to go out and find any way they can to put dinner on their table tonight.
